Camera for a 5 year old July 7, 2010 S. Meyer (Vadnais Heights, MN USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We bought this camera for our 5 year old son. It works great for this purpose. Simple point and shoot, no zoom and no major options. The megapixels are way better than the cameras they sell specifically for kids and it costs less. It is light weight and small, so perfect for little hands. My only concern is that it may get damaged easier than a camera designed for kids, but it has not done so yet. The camera holds about 30 pics on the internal memory and then needs to be downloaded and cleared. However, a memory card can be used to hold more pics at one time. My son has had the camera about 2 months and it is already saving us money over the cost of disposable cameras and development costs.
hey April 23, 2010 N. Jones (chicago, il) 3 out of 32 found this review helpful
i do not own this item but what do u expect from 3mp. it sounds like a great starter camera or for an individual on a tight budget. i am sure it works as great as any other 3mg with out optical zoom camera. People need to read before they buy items and realize that the item works great for what it is suppose to do. That is all that I have to say!!
Great little camera for cheap April 17, 2010 Royal Oak Gal (Royal Oak, Michigan, US) 17 out of 19 found this review helpful
I bought this camera and it works wonderful. It has zoom which is a great plus. It takes great pictures which is good. One thing tho is that my computer doesn't recognize the USB cable which is fine because I have an SD card anyway. Another thing I didn't realize is that it takes AAA batteries because I didn't read the whole thing (my fault). I am thinking about buying this camera for my mom because it is fairly simple to use. It is small which is great cuz it fits in my pants pocket and the pocket on the side of my purse perfectly. I love it also because it is easy to use and it fits in the palm of my hand. I love Polaroid. I have 3 old polaroids from many years ago and if I get another camera, its going to be another Polaroid.
Great for kids June 24, 2010 Shack (usa) This is a great starter camera for kids. It does not have a lens that protrudes out to get broken.
Good camera for the price August 17, 2010 Laura This is a great starter camera. We bought it for our 14 year old son to take on a trip. There were some grainy pictures but most of them came back very sharp. It seems that the camera took much sharper distance pictures (even using the zoom) but gets grainy when taking close up pictures. For the price we were very happy with it.
